The objective of craps is to correctly predict if the two dice thrown will present a winning combination.
Craps is a fast-paced dice game that sparks high octane energy and sends cheers throughout the casino. There are three dealers at the craps table: the Stickperson and two Basepersons.
The Stickperson stands outside of the table and controls the dice. The Basepersons stand on the inside of the game and handle the players' bets.
Much like a sports announcer, the Stickperson calls the play-by-play of the game letting players know what’s happening and which bets are winning and losing.
The game begins with the shooter's (player throwing the dice) first roll, called the Come Out Roll.
Winners: 7, 11
Losers: 2, 3, 12
Any other number becomes the "point." You win if the shooter rolls the point again before rolling a 7 and lose if he rolls a 7 first.
Winners: 2, 3
Losers: 7, 11
If a 12 is rolled, the wager on the Don't Pass is a tie (bar). After the point is established, the wager wins if a 7 is rolled and loses if the point is rolled again.
This even-money wager is the same as the Pass Line and can be made any time after the Come Out Roll.
This even-money wager is the same as the Don't Pass Line and can be made any time after the Come Out Roll.
You can make this one roll bet at any time. If 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 are rolled, you win. If any other number is rolled, you lose.
After a point has been made, an odds bet can be made as an additional wager made on an existing Pass, Don't Pass, Come, or Don't Come bet.
Hard Ways is a wager that a 4, 6, 8 or 10 will be rolled in their "Hard form" (two 2's, two 4's, etc.), before a 7 or any other combination of that number is rolled (example: 8 = 5 & 3). The Hard Ways pays odds of 10 for 1 for a Hard 6 or 8 and 8 for 1 for a Hard 4 or 10.
Bet on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 and win if the number is rolled before a 7.
Any Seven is a one-roll bet that can be made at any time and wins if a 7 is rolled. Any Seven pays odd of 5 for 1.
Any Craps is a one-roll bet that can be made at any time and wins if a 2, 3 or 12 are rolled.
Eleven is a one-roll bet that pays odds of 16 for 1 if an eleven is rolled.
