SUMMARY: Provide exceptional valet services to arriving and departing guests. Seasonal team members work up to 6 months with the ability to return year after year with flexible scheduling


Indian Preference is applicable in accordance with Ordinance # 15-600-02

• At least 18 years of age
• Previous customer service experience
• Must be insurable on Company Policy
• Must have a chauffeurs license at time of employment
• Experience and demonstrated ability operating a variety of motor vehicles, including both automatic and manual transmissions.
• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
• TAM certified or must obtain within 90 days of employment

Conditions of employment with Little River Casino Resort include passing a pre-employment drug test including Marijuana, a background investigation to secure a gaming license and successfully completing a three-month introductory period. Must also maintain a valid Michigan Driver’s License and be insurable on our company’s policy throughout your time of employment with the Little River Casino Resort.

1. Greets/welcomes Valet/Shuttle Bus Customers and provides information regarding Little River Casino Resort parking services.
2. Distributes valet parking tickets and secures keys with parking information, ensuring all Little River Casino Resort and Security Department policies are followed.
3. Follows training program as prescribed
4. Maintains security of customer keys.
5. Drives/retrieves customers’ cars to/from valet parking and other assignments
6. Performs all duties in accordance with Little River Casino Resort customer service standards.
7. Performs general upkeep in the valet receiving and parking areas.
8. Provides input or recommendations for improvement or changes in programs, processes or services and participates in department projects as directed.
9. Identifies and reports any irregular, unsafe or hazardous conditions.
10. Maintains general knowledge of the surrounding area, local attractions, and of all Little River Casino Resort operations, programs, events, promotions and services in order to provide general information to customers.
11. Greets hotel guests upon arrival/departure.
12. Loads and unloads guests’ luggage to and from room and assists with delivery of guestroom amenities.
13. Maintains general operations of coat check area.
14. Must satisfactorily complete all training assigned by the Resort.
15. Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Little River Casino Resort and of the Hotel department.

Must be able to communicate using written, verbal and computer methods. Must be able to operate computer equipment for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods in excess of 4 hours. Must be able to walk, sit, and/or stand for long periods of time. Must have a good sense of balance and be able to bend and kneel. Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects. Must have the ability to independently lift up to ¬35 pounds occasionally. Must have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate computer equipment. Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.

Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasional overtime required. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. High volume direct public contact.
